The Solution to Sin Problem #3 requires the Solution to Sin Problem #2
In addition, the changed believer is enabled to be part of the solution.
- God’s part is Jesus’ life’s blood, which remains effective for cleansing. (I John 1:7)
- The believer’s active part in the solution is making good choices.
- confession of their sins to receive God’s forgiveness and cleansing.
- Relate to God: find out from Him what to do about the visible effects of sin.
- Do as God says: the believer acts to deal with the visible effects of sin as God directs.
- The unbeliever (still having the two universal Sin Problems) cannot is not enabled to deal with sin as is the believer.
- The unbeliever can neither relate to God nor receive His help/cleansing as the believer can.
The above choices can be made because the believer has confessed: “Jesus is my Lord and Master”, and then has followed the Lord Jesus’ clear direction,
A close and active relationship with Jesus is essential for each of us, as believers, to know how and then actually to live the new spiritual life God has given us.
